Friends of Greystone
Founded in 2001 and comprised solely of volunteers, Friends of Greystone is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to restore, preserve and protect Greystone Mansion & Gardens: The Doheny Estate, a historic, nationally registered landmark located at 905 Loma Vista Drive in Beverly Hills, California. Greystone Mansion was built in 1927 by oil tycoon Edward Lawrence Doheny. The Baronial-style home has 55 rooms in 46,000 square feet of living space. The mansion sits on 18.5 acres of green space with beautifully manicured formal gardens. In 1971, the mansion and grounds were formally dedicated as a public park by the City of Beverly Hills. Annually, huundreds of thousands of visitors come to the park to enjoy the grounds that are open daily from 10:00 a.m to 5 p.m.
