HoldYou Foundation (www.holdyou.org) is a non-profit organization recently founded to provide compassionate care for families whose lives are changed forever when their child suffers a life threatening illness or injury.
HoldYou provides support to these families by lifting some of their financial burdens so that they can focus on their child.
HoldYou's mission is to provide financial support during the most critical period to help families with urgent life expenses such as rent, car payment, gas, public transportation, food, and insurance premiums. We believe all parents should have the opportunity to be present for their child during their most difficult days and that a child's anxiety is reduced by the comfort of having the loving support of their family near them.
HoldYou Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Tax ID 47-421115

In March 2016, 2 year old Abbey woke up one morning with an egg-sized bump on her head. Her parents immediately brought her to an urgent care facility. The urgent care doctors sent them directly to Children's Hospital Los Angeles. After being admitted for evaluation, Abbey was diagnosed with High Risk Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Within the first week, sweet Abbey endured CT scans, MRI's, a tumor biopsy, bone marrow testing, a blood transfusion and chemotherapy. For the next 18 months this brave little girl will undergo high risk neuroblastoma treatment.
Within days of Abbey's diagnosis, her mom, by no fault of her own, was laid off from her job. Months later, with parents facing serious financial hardship, HoldYou was able to step in and pay urgent energy bills for the family, which allowed Abbey's parents to be present and focus more fully on her care. HoldYou aims to keep parents by their children's side.
This is only one story from the many families we've helped this year. Your contribution to HoldYou Foundation will help families like Abbey's in their time of greatest need. Your support can come in the form of a purchase or donation of auction items, an offerage of professional services, event voluneteering or monetary contribution.
Or simply show your compassion by sharing this event with a friend. We hope you will join us in making a difference.
