HomeAid Orange County
HomeAid Orange County has been building doorways for homeless families to begin the journey from benches to beds…and shelters to self-sufficiency for nearly two and half decades.
The organization has connected the resources and talents from all sectors of the business community – building industry, financial sector, legal community, technology sector and others to build and renovate 48 shelters, that added 1,054 beds, to serve Orange County’s transitionally homeless population.
HomeAid shelters are built with in-kind assistance from building industry members, other business community members, governmental agencies and volunteers. The shelters that have been built for the organization’s non-profit partners range from small building renovations to multi-million dollar projects.
