The Young Society of Love and Hope

For more than 30 years, the hardworking women of the Love and Hope committee have been wowing the area's top philanthropists, socialites, celebrities, media and more with the most glamorous galas and extraordinary events, all of which benefit the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI.) Recently, several second generation members, as well as others who are passionately committed to the cause, formed The Young Society of Love and Hope, which also supports the DRI. The Diabetes Research Institute, a center of excellence at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, is a recognized world leader in cure-focused research. Since its inception in the early 1970s, the DRI has made significant contributions to the field of diabetes research. For the millions of families already affected by diabetes who are looking to the world of science for answers, the Diabetes Research Institute is the best hope for a cure.
